Job Description:
A company is looking for a Debt Specialist I to negotiate and
collect payments on delinquent accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate and collect payments on delinquent retail, consumer,
residential, or auto accounts
Evaluate customer delinquencies and implement standard methods to
secure payments
Document calls and customer interactions clearly while identifying
opportunities for process improvements
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to develop strong phone skills for effective customer
interactions
Developing negotiation skills within established guidelines
Basic PC skills and ability to learn about various consumer loan
products
Writing ability to document calls clearly
