HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors,is looking for a Regional Health and Safety Manager to be located out of our Baton Rouge, LA office. The Regional Health and Safety Manager Responsible for overseeing and coordinating Health & Safety responsibilities for the Region, including providing technical assistance on Health & Safety issues and questions for our Industrial Services group.

  Responsibilities
  
  
  • Oversee the day-to-day safety and industrial hygiene needs for Industrial Services in their assigned region.
  • Manage and oversee the Health & Safety Representative(s) located in their assigned region.
  • Provide Health & Safety training, program development, and review and work closely with regional operations personnel and management to ensure Company Health & Safety programs and policies are followed and promoted.

    Qualifications
    
    
    • Bachelor's degree in industrial Hygiene/Safety related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Health & Safety required in lieu of degree
    • Strong communication, writing, management and interpersonal skills and experience.
    • Multi-tasked orientated and organized.
    • Ability to recognize and recommend appropriate safety precautions for a wide variety of situations and hazards
    • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, etc.
    • Practical experience in occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, safety engineering, fire safety or safety engineering
    • Travel 25% - 50%
