• BLS - Basic Life Support
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Job Details
  • Registered Nurse position in a Major Trauma unit specializing in multi-trauma, seizure, stroke, and other critical conditions.
  • Neuro Surgery experience is required.
    • Job Requirements
    • Current and valid Louisiana State License or Compact License required.
    • BLS certification required; must be AHA only and RQI is accepted.
    • ACLS certification preferred; must be completed if certification expires within 30 days of start.
    • PICC line management and blood product administration skills required.
      • Schedule Information
      • Every other holiday required.
      • Float requirement: Can be pulled to all other inpatient units.
      • Unable to guarantee specific scheduling requests; schedule as needed per unit.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit handles major trauma cases including craniotomy, spinal fusions, and other surgical procedures.
          • Additional Details
          • Current/valid Drivers License/State ID or government photo ID required.
          • Background Check required within 30 days of start and updated annually.
