Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty License: Compact or State license in hand upon submission Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), NURSYS Reports, AHA certifications, AWHONN Intermediate for L&D, CPI for ER nurses Must-Have: EPIC Experience Job Description: - The nurse will work on a medical unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. - This role backfills for a previous cancellation and requires immediate availability. - Facilities do not accept local travelers; applicants must live over 65 miles away. - The position accepts first-time travelers. - Orientation is required for 8 hours and will be scheduled as needed. - Compliance with COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations is necessary, with limited exemptions. - The candidate must be prepared to work flexible hours and adhere to relevant compliance and licensing requirements. - References from two supervisors or managers are needed for clearance prior to contract start. - Candidates who have previously worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have been separated for 1 full year before returning as travelers.
