currently seeking a Technical Architect - state agency health and
human services to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (US-LA),
United States (US).Project Role:Design, maintain and implement the
technical and software architectures related to
systems/applications, including compute, storage, network, backup,
and disaster recovery. Coordinate architecture implementation,
operations, and maintenance with client data center providers.
Provide innovation and optimization for technical and software
architectures utilized by supported
systems/applications.Responsibilities:
- Applies knowledge of technical infrastructure and software
architecture principles, practices, processes, designs, and tools
to an enterprise state-level social services information technology
system.
- Manages projects with oversight from their supervisor.
- Works as a consulting team member or an individual technical
consultant in the development of technical solutions of moderate
complexity.
- Develops solutions and strategies based on the analysis of
client business goals, objectives, needs, and existing
infrastructure.
- Develops solutions and strategies that are aligned to the
technical requirements and limitations of approved client
tools.
- Applies principles, concepts, and techniques of skills in
developing solutions and strategies.
- Interacts with external clients and client managers and
identifies additional opportunities in client organization.
- Integrates multiple technologies and applications within a
specific client solution.
- Develops and documents system architecture, ensuring
scalability and security.
- Develops and documents disaster recovery and resilient
architectures.
- Focuses on efficiency and cost in the development of system
architectures.
- Provides technical guidance to development teams.
- Evaluates new technologies and recommends system enhancements
and innovations.
- Ensures compliance with federal and state standards.Required
Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years of state level health and human services
projects experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience applying government security
standards and related compliant reference architectures (NIST,
HIPAA, CJIS, Treasury, etc.).Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Certification in architecture methodology (AWS, Azure,
TOGAF).Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range
of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this
remote role is $85,600.00 to $128,400. This range reflects the
minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all
US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of
factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant
experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This
position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on
individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible
for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision
insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or
health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and
