- Job Details
- The Ultrasound Tech 2 performs diagnostic sonographic
examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and
record critical physiological, pathological, and anatomical
data.
- Produces ultrasound images to aid in the diagnosis of medical
problems.
- The ultrasound technologist monitors and ensures safety of
patient and staff.
- Performs patient screening by using established protocols.
- Utilizes departmental policy to perform safe operation of
equipment and in all functions of the job.
- Provides complete pre and post education to patients and
family.
- Able to evaluate competency level of others as preceptor.
- Reports to Supervisor or Manager.
- Job Requirements
- AHA or ARC Only BLS certification required for onboarding.
- ARDMS certification required for onboarding.
- FMOLHS American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography Registry
required for onboarding.
- FMOLHS 1 Specialty Registries required for onboarding.
- Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer or Declination
accepted for MMR required for onboarding.
- N95 - Completed within 1 year of start updated annually
required for onboarding.
- Proof of 3 immunizations, positive titer or Declination
accepted for Hepatitis B required for onboarding.
- Proof of negative Blood test or Skin test as described below
required for onboarding.
- Statement signed and dated within 1 year of start stating
traveler is able to work without restrictions required for

- Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer or Declination
accepted for Varicella required for onboarding.
