  • Job Details
  • The Ultrasound Tech 2 performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical physiological, pathological, and anatomical data.
  • Produces ultrasound images to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
  • The ultrasound technologist monitors and ensures safety of patient and staff.
  • Performs patient screening by using established protocols.
  • Utilizes departmental policy to perform safe operation of equipment and in all functions of the job.
  • Provides complete pre and post education to patients and family.
  • Able to evaluate competency level of others as preceptor.
  • Reports to Supervisor or Manager.
    • Job Requirements
    • AHA or ARC Only BLS certification required for onboarding.
    • ARDMS certification required for onboarding.
    • FMOLHS American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography Registry required for onboarding.
    • FMOLHS 1 Specialty Registries required for onboarding.
    • Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer or Declination accepted for MMR required for onboarding.
    • N95 - Completed within 1 year of start updated annually required for onboarding.
    • Proof of 3 immunizations, positive titer or Declination accepted for Hepatitis B required for onboarding.
    • Proof of negative Blood test or Skin test as described below required for onboarding.
    • Statement signed and dated within 1 year of start stating traveler is able to work without restrictions required for onboarding.
    • Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer or Declination accepted for Varicella required for onboarding.
    • Proof of vaccination within past 10 years or Declination accepted for Tdap optional for onboarding.
