Job Description:

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist, Facility Denials & Edits.

Key Responsibilities

Provide remote coding services to clients
Review and correct payer coding edits during the claim edit review process
Meet productivity and accuracy expectations

Required Qualifications

RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCS-P credential from AHIMA; or CPC, COC, or CIC from AAPC
Ability to resolve payer coding edits and knowledge of when to append modifiers
Experience with billing edits and knowledge of hospital billing codes
Ability to work from home using high-speed internet
